Hi, adir. In Shanghai, the average rent cost of Plaza ranges USD 0.25 to USD 1 for M2. Since your office is newly established, you can rent apartments as you another choice. Sometimes the apartments cost less than Plaza.

No offense, but please be aware that Yiwu is in the middle of nowhere.
Shenzhen is a great place and is at the border of Hong Kong, which
is very westernized. If that's important to you.
I do all my personal banking there, food shopping, as well as
other personal business, which cannot be done from the mainland.

Also be aware, that a lot of the Chinese open an office in either an apartment or condo. And may be in with dwellers and not businesses.

Some of the buildings here are actually both offices and condos.

First, you need to make a decision on the location of your office. Shanghai, Beijing, Shenzhen, Qingdao, Ningbo, or else? The geographic location should be closed to your Chinese factory or convenient to transport your product.

Second, the average cost of rental varies from place to place, and city to city. If you want to use the office address to register a company/office, you must use an official office building instead of a condo or apartment.

Last but not least, to save cost, you can use some serviced office & virtual office which already available worldwide.
