I am interested if some one can tell me how to arrange shipping to USA from different countries.Is there a site that explains my options and maybe explain the terms used for this.Is there a term for direct shipping to address?

In case of CIF, once your shipment arrived to the destination seaport, the appointed forwarder will contact you anyway, asking what to do with your shipment, so you can ask them to transport your stuff anywhere you want.
At FOB delivery it is quite obvious, since you pick your forwarder and customs agent, you can commit them to bring the goods to your site.

shipping to your address: that is door to door service, a forwarder can do it.
First, you can choose a forwarder at your end in USA, and ask them price for shipping price from the export country to USA, if you pay the freight by yourself, you can ask supplier to quote you by FOB price term. If you want the supplier to pay the freight, you can ask them to quote by CIF or C&F price term, but this one you need to clear custom and pick up goods from port by yourself. you can compare both of them.
As you ask to ship to your address, that would be better to make a corporation with a forwarder at your end, so they can do everything well and send the goods to your address.

For shipment to US, origin require to declare AMS. clear consignee details to supplier is a must. And at destination, you need to appoint a customs broker for import declaration with your POA.
