Just posting to find out people's views of online fashion/clothes stores. I know a talented designer who is considering having clothes made which would then be sold online via a specially designed website. Is there much of a market for this or is it already very saturated? Also, what's people's opinions of buying clothes online (do you prefer buying them in store after trying them on etc)?

Clothes online stores are not strange for us anymore. There is a well known website for retail stores in China named tao bao net which is also part of Alibaba company. Thousands of clothes retail stores on this website. You can browse it at www.taobao.com

Did you mean such retail online store? Did you want to creat your own brand even a name brand?

Nowadays many young people like buying clothes online not only for fashion life style but also for leisure.

I have twice experience in buying clothes online. Its not good experience for me cause I found many problems, the color, the quality even the size NOT as the same as the pictures and describtion.

People are easily cheated by the perfect pictures of the clothes. But those pictures look so nice NOLY because of PHOTOSHOP.

You can NOT measure the quality at all if you just see the pictures.

You do NOT know if the size is as the same as the describtion.

Moreover you even DO NOT know if the clothes are new or old.

So many problems in buying clothes online.

My suggestion:

You should offer clothes with good quality. Good service is also important. Credit is the most important thing ! NEVER frustrate your customers' confidence to you.

day after day i am becoming more and more lazy. so i don't go shopping, or let's say i go  just when i need smth immediately. so i prefer to buy online.
