Is it legaly possble for two companies using same brand name for different products?

Yes, it is legal and possible if the same brand name is registered by two different companies for two different products, as every company is needed to declare for what products they will use the brand name.
For example, company A may use brand name "Quick" for soup and
company B may use brand name "Quick" for soap

In this case any other company can not use this brand name "Quick" either for soup or soap. Any attempt to use will be illegal..

To elaborate further, There are 34 categories of goods in India.A company can register the brand in as many categories it wants to sell products under the brand.
