Hello to everyone. As a new member on this website, I was astonished to see the a section reserved for all the fraud cases and security issue. So, I will surely encouraged everyone to help is stopping scammers.
:::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::
I've compile some steps which might help is stopping scammers. These are based a basic simple tool, that is communication:
:::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::
1. Share information :::::::::: If you feel that scammers are trying to steal you, after having made all the verification, share the information. There are several websites which list of websites which are known to be scam. One of the best documented is I think www.fraudwatchers.com. I mention this website very often but they really proved to be useful to track scammers.
:::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::
2. Get yourself some friends ::::::::::
Yes, friendship is important in the real life and it proved to be useful on the net also. Get yourself some trader as friend. It may be people which whom you've trade on alibaba.com or any other website but who you trust. Now here also, share information between you on suspicious traders.
3. Post good company ::::::::::
It's not only about posting bad experiences, but also good one. If youve traded with someone and this was a good experience, please post it also. Inform people that Company X is a good performing company. This will increase trust between people to deal with some companies. Or at least make us know that there are honest company.
:::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::
Conclusion :::::::::
To conclude, a question remains. Where to post such information about scammer and good performing companies? You can post it on www.fraudwatchers.org and also post it here on alibaba.com. But be sure that the most people will get the information and keep it up to date.

I agree. This method of building a knowledgebase of known scammers is a good idea.
I'm sure many of the traders here are all wanting to do business and keeping their business strategy a secrets. But for Scammers, this is where we draw the line.
Make it known for others and ban his/her IP....something Alibaba should do, log the IP against their login.

Another Chinese business to avoid is Ibb2008 or www.ibb2008.com
Supposedly based in Beijing, Fengtai District. This person or company uses a false bank account with false names etc..so this really means in short you cannot trust any bank in China because of the ease with which bank accounts can be set up under false ID's which are able to be bought off the streets in Beijing. My advise is to only deal with Chinese companies which will supply their Government registration details..but even then I would recommend not trading with them until this info has been separately vetting by someone else. A good way to do this is to ask a taiwanese company to make the checks for you. A least the taiwanese are not into scamming tricks like chinese individuals are.

Replying to [bsanssouci]: Thanks Alibaba,
It is my advice also to use an existing trusted Chinese company to check out any other electronics companies that appear to be suspicious. My experience to-date with using the Peoples Republic of China Trade connections has not been a good one..it is very difficult if not impossible to get anyone to reply to an English email..which I suspect just get rubbished because they are not in Chinese Script.
The most important point is not to trust a Chinese company because it has a bank account...because fraudulent bank accounts are so easy to set up in China...and we will see more and more scamming chinese cheap electronic companies as times goes by.
