How to find an Agent from China ?

For almost one year I have been looking for an agent based in China who could source Stock Fabrics on a regualr basis but so far i have not heard from one. What's the best place to find a good trading partner ? and when you find one, how do you know he/she is genuine ?

Replying to [Silk-Road-Jay]: In my opinion a good agent in stock sourcing should be good at the knowledge of fabric,the factories of fabric in China very well, even has the best knowlege at the custom and some renting warhouses.
Good knoledge at fabric can make sure you can get the best desirable price of the stock goods; knowing more about the fabric or textile factories can get more stock suppilers and give your more choice; Througn the survey on the factory, warehouse and custom you can get more valuable inforamtion about stocklot.
We had USD 10,000's stocklot of canceled order last year, and we got the deposit so we decided to reduce the price to sell out since it tied us too much warehouse and energe. but no body came to ask until 4 months later but we sold them to another old customers. I am sure these goods would be available with a favorable price if some come to ask.
Other quality such as social and skillful in comunication, dedicated and faithful character are necessary at the same.
According to the business, fabric exactly,there are more mass factories of fabrics. Yiwu, Shaoxing and Suzhou. you can get the people there. But for the professional stock agent, it is a little difficult and the best way is to ask some your chinese friends get for you.

Replying to [Silk-Road-Jay]:It is not easy to find stock fabrics from factories or domestic markets. Many companies in China & HK are working on stock fabrics. They can easily sold away in local demand.
I am experienced in fabrics: plush, cotton, T/c, denim, nylon, polyester, silk, acetate, corduroy.......
