 I can understand your situation. I also face the same problem like you. Did you try to e-mail them again and suggest them to give you any suggestion? I know that most of them will not response the e-mail. Next, I will try to get the information about the price of our competitors in order to demostrate that whether or not our price is higher than others. Good luck to you.

Sometimes the person enquiring is not actually a customer. A lot of times it is a competitor who is comparing their prices with yours. The best way to avoid this is for you to collect information about who is making the request before you release information. This will make it more difficult for your competitors and will also give you an advantage to keep in contact with someone who is genuinely interested in your products.

Hi Guys,

Sometimes the buyer also need to request few quotations before they can decide to purchase yr product. This is normal. As a buyer you must do this. Keep cool ok.  Pls always give the best offer.

So, you hate this kind of buyer. It is so big of you to admit it. But you did not have to do so: all experienced buyer have a way of knowing this. I buy from Asia twenty to thirty times a month.  I want the best price in the first email. I do not want to answer questions that I have already answered in my specifications. I want the best price first, and when I receive twenty to fifty replies from every inquiry, I do not have the time to dicker.  If you cannot give me the best price first, you do not deserve a second chance and I will not be giving it to you.  As I have more and more successful suppliers, I use less and less of any new list candidates, so if you have not already won my confidence through a previous successful order, your chances become less and less that you will ever have the chance to ever be my supplier.

Let  give them time to decide and make friend with customer, You make friend with customer even they will not buy.Give the buyer a good customer service.In selling making a channel for buyer is important. Who knows someday they will ask a big order with you or  recommend you with their friends.  They ask for the price because they need it. Just relax and keep positive.

Forget it. Focus to release new quotations to others. To release more quotation brings you more chances.

Don't be discouraged it is a time and pricing game really we get alot of drill pipe quotes and casing quotes but it is impossible to purchase from one place all the time but if you remain faithful and always give a quote one day it will pay off
