Over the past months, a series of Korean celebrities' suicides hit the headline of the main websites.Choi Jin Sil (Cui Zhenshi), one of the most famous actress in Korea, ended her life at her private apartment on Oct 2nd, without giving any concrete reason before death. Many people supposed that she undertook great pressures from her big loan. "Time" viewed that Cui was a single mother, also a movie star, who cannot be recognized by the traditional culture so that she only had to die in desperation. Actually, Cui was not the first celebrity to commit suicide, other hot entertainment figures, such as An Zaihuan, Yi La and so on went away in the similar way not long ago. People in the country begin to wonder why so many celebrities chose this way to end themselves. Is there any other way to release pressures? Or should we give life another chance, not for the ones you loved, but for yourself? What's your opinion towards this issue?

Hi Sunson
Yes, I believe we should love ourselves more. But the problem here is that we should stop to wonder what that would mean. Loving ourselves is not an emotion or feeling (as the people in the west would interpret this concept); rather loving ourselves is treating ourselves with kindness.
This may mean dealing with things or situations that are hurting us in a way to end that pain.
Sorry to hear of so many public reports of people who are high in the public eye ending their lives. I am sure many of your people find that quite bewildering to deal with.
All the best,
yes.we must have to love ourselves more. I understand their situation.I think every body has that thought when they are in depression. But if we pass that period, everything will be ok.we have to learn how to release our pressure.

The pressure mounts when our feelings and thoughts about something are in conflict. It is sometimes quite difficult to come to the point of resolving such a situation because to do so would mean we must make certain choices to let something go, to reach for something else. And we don't always want to be responsible for exercising our choices in life.
Certain situations in life can be tough to deal with!
But...when we have gotten past that point of struggling to balance our feelings and thoughts the sun begins to shine again in our lives!

Hi Sunson,
In my opinion, we should relieve our pressure by trusting in God. He is the only one that can solve all our problem. He is the source of joy and peace.
How do you think?
regards,
Constance

yes,we should love our life more,as it is really short,no one can live forever, and during our whole life,it will not be smooth all the time,it is normal that you will meet some dufficulties, and there will be some problems embrass you, however,it is not the right way just to end our life,as whenever you end your life, you will not wake any more, when you meet some problem, you can ask for help from your friends or parents,or just relax for a time, just clam down,I think everything will end some day, including the difficulty.
And I hope there will be more trust and love, then the world will be more beautiful.
