Post 22 of 65

Dear you

I visit many times in china for business usally in southern of China such as Ningbpo, Shanghai, Hangzhou..

I totally agree China improved for certain short time with outlooking and powerful enonomy growth, such as meterial but not with  people of psychical growtih and social

system.China goverment try to improve together with sprit movemnt but it can't change by goverment's control to all"RenMin"

So what simple saying is when China psychical growtih will be good for harmorney with economic growth together

Dear

Different people may have different opinions and experiences about living in China. For some its hard coz they have never been used to live in different conditions. For some its easy to adjust themselves in new conditions.

As far as this country concerns, Im living in China since 2004 and I have had many good and bad experiences. Ofcourse money is another very important factor. China is a nice country to live if you have nice and friendly people around you, you are doing business or job or whatever which is paying you back enough or better than others, and as long as you are living a peaceful and trouble free life. For many foreigners doing business it might be a headache doing things in their own way as many rules and laws in china are quiet differnet from other countries.

Overall, i have no complains. I am fine here in China. :)

In my one year stay in China I have really enjoyed it, although i was there for work I managed to have a good nightlife in Shanghai and spend weekends in other beautiful cities like Hangzhou. Foods are really great as im a lover of Chinese foods, shoppings are one of those things i enjoyed much going through bargains and night markets. Shanghai is branded as the New York of China while Hangzhou is the Europe version so theres nothing you can ask for. Chinese people are very warm, although i could only speak a bit of Mandarin this doesnt bother me at all. It is very nice living in China

I am a foreigner living in China for more than 5 years. On the whole the experience has been a plesant one. All places in the world have good and bad sides and I did face troubles at times in China as well. But I like this country and its people and will be here for a while. Cheers!!!!

It depends on what your experience in the city ,for example, the city's environment ,the people in the city ,if the weather apply to you and your attitude to the city .In China ,you can evaluate a city with some indicators. Also have several cities award to worth living. But it should take cost.

For French man, they find themselves more acceptable by the local than the Korean. There are always overflowing baggages, such as historical feeling about a nation, for example the Japanese for their past invasion of China and the war atrocities. However, the Japanes can communicate with the local better than the Korean, because of their writing in Kanji. Most younger Koreans cannot communicate in other language other than the Hangu. The Chinese is not so comfortable with the Koreans as the past Korean war haunts them.

I find the cost of living higher, and more expensive in South Korea, than in China, but in Shanghai, it is expensive. Food is more acceptable to a foreigner in China, as there are many restaurants to cater for the Foreign foods. The Koreans are less adaptable to foreigners living there, but are also food chains like Pieza Hut, and Wendy in Korea, however they are fewer than the Chinese capital cities.

I am a Chinese and have been living in Shanghai for almost two yeats. I agreen with you about what you said about China and Chinese mostly. But I do not agree with why a French is more acceptable than Janpnese or Korean. If you say the korean war haunts us , the Janese invasion haunts us much more. In fact, we are not haunted much by the korea war . Many Chinese do not like Janpanese is because of their Invasion to china and they do not admit it. We do not like Koreans is because of some Koreans are cheeky and arrogent and said most of our territory belongs to korean and most of the Acient Chinese invention were made by them . I do not know why  some Koreans feel fearful about Chinese fast development, but they do.

As for the languages, there are much similarities between Chinese and Janpanese. What you do may do not know is that there were much similarities between Korean and Chinese charactors, but all the similarities are eliminated by Koreans in the last century. You may find that Janpansese attach more importance about Chinsese  culture , especially Acient Chinsese culture.  But Most Koreans reject Chinses culture ( maybe that  is because korean has been a subject state of Chinese for tens of thousands of years). I think that is why Janpanese can communicate better with Chinese , not because their language is similar to Chinese but because they know much about Chinese culture.
