how to find a factory and not a small trade company?

 I had been spending some time looking for a flashdisk factory,  i want to first order around 1000 units of 16 gb flashdisks. But looks like most of the selling leads are from small trade companys, those can not give a real competitive price. Some advice for regconize a real factory just looking at the selling lead?

Best way is to find a partner in China.Internet is internet,it can reflect the reality but it is not the 100% reality.

Also,I do not think trading company could not offer you competitive price especially you are not buying in huge quantity.Manufactors will not like to deal with you because most of them have exporting agents.All they do is JUST produce.

Generally speaking, factories have their own homepages, not on Alibaba or Tradekey. Next time, before you place an order, you can visit their website.



Yes, many factory are not on the alibaba, and they don't attend show fair. you may find them by baidu, that is the chinese website.

Maybe after you bought them from a factory then you can find it's not the best way for you indeed.

[em1]The trade companys have large of  manufacturers source.Most of time,after you communicate with ONE trade company and the company understand your idea or requirements. Then you can find out the right manufacturer. Otherwise,Maybe you want to contact ONE HUNDRED manufacturers and communicate with all of them. Then to choose the right manufacturer.

Most of buyer think one question that is the price of trade company is higher than the manufacturer. In fact,the business executive work in trade company they have rich experience on the products,shipping,payment settlement and so on. They know the real price,quality and other and how to higgle with the manufacturer.

An obvious sample, WalMart one of the biggest buyer in the world. Walmart contact the trade company mainly and ask the trade company to develop the manufacturer and products,to higgle with the manufacturer. Walmart named the trade company "Vender" and manufacturer "factory". Walmart to inspect the factory,but never to establish the direct contact with factory.

Hi, maybe you can find a local sourcing agent who can help you fix it.
