3 sources, 3 times the sames prices... Scam?
Post 1 of 6
Hello,

I've been thinking about starting my own computer buisness for a very long time and now I'm slowly starting it. I've been looking for many parts and I've received pricelist from some suppliers.

After adding them to a folder on my computer, I realised that many of them were about the same. Only the police or the color changed in the excel document, the prices were about the same(2 of 3 have the same and 1 has its prices lower).

Having about all the time the same price (about 50% under normal prices) is good and means it's real, or it's because they scam the same way?

What should I ask if I want to be sure they won't scam me when I will make the payment?

Thank you for your reply.

From my point of view, it is more risky to buy products from supplier who privide product at a unbelievable price. You just start your business, and the most important thing to you right now, is keep your business safe.

One supplier has prices 66% lower than the market price, and he offered me the L/C payment method. Should I give a try? I heard that L/C method was safer for me. So if he doesn't send the items, I could have my money back.

As far as I know, L/C can be unsafe also. L/C is all about document verification by the bank. It does not guarantee the goods is of acceptable quality, or whatever. It could be risky too. Try to check out your supplier by visiting them or send an auditor there.

Please be careful! Especially you do not have rich experience on your business! We can not bear out the scam through the offer, the payment method and so on. If you are interest in any suppliers,no 100% assuredness,no business
