A novice to dealing through Alibaba could easily presume that Gold suppliers are verified as honest suppliers and the only reason this person lost his 30% deposit is because someone stole the identity of the real Gold supplier. The truth of the matter is that legitimate and verified Gold suppliers are just as likely to steal your money as in this identity theft case. The verification standard that Alibaba undertsakes before granting the supplier or fraudster the Gold supplier title is so lazy and not even skin deep that calling it a verification is bordering on diception itself!.

Replying to [Electrononix]: Actually you don't understand the concept of Gold Supplier yourself. Gold Supplier is nothing more than an unverified advertiser of products from either Mainland China or Hong Kong, nothing more.

There are too many scammers going on today not only in Alibaba, one among these fraud is when a broker will bring a vital buyer to the seller the buyer`s mandate will reject what one gives him, it seems that the deal is dead the very mandate will go behind with the seller seal up the deal without caring about the broker.
In regard to buyer paying to the seller upfront this is in desperation, it is not advisable unless where you have done a deal before with the seller even when you have done a deal before with the seller it is not advisable because the seller might be going down by running down her business she may need money to pay the debt and a buyer will be the victim.
I advise buyers not to listen to a seller with a very good magine from the prices in the market, two dollars magine may be good not more.

Beef to security would be practical as copies can not be Printed without activation number at the time of Print or Other ( Open to suggestions ... ) any others lets build a room of where we canpost our problems here in Alibaba to solution... then over tothe Business Machine and Secretarial Room to collect and prepare forms that would be directly downloadable from the Site and compliant to many ( the majority ... ) gain some perspective to open their doors for business domestic and international ... it is not easy; it IS difficult, but we have to live and by Faith we go on .

Counterfeiting of critical electrical components has been a worldwide problem for several years, and Underwriters Lab is doing something about it. UL says that it has recently launched a new Criminal Enforcement Program including the hiring of two top North American law enforcement professionals who have operated at the forefront for prosecution of counterfeiters. The Criminal Enforcement Program will focus more of UL's anti-counterfeiting resources on criminal prosecution of offenders who deal in counterfeit UL marks.
UL is also expanding its Customs Enforcement Program by hiring personnel to work with multiple federal agencies supporting the identification and prevention of counterfeit UL-marked products from entering the U.S.

I was also a victim of one of the companies in this web site, the company name is MOTORGEN web site www.motorgen-indo.com Mr. Andy Kristianto, this person sales motorcycles from Indonesia, i make the money transfer but never received the bike, he told me the shipping company lost the bike, so he will give me my money back, thing that never happened so far, so be carefull before buying, check on Embassy list of companies that are able to sell and they are recognized by the embassy of that country.
