Has anyone bought anything here with
Western Union
or Money Gram payment upfront? To me it is a pure scam but the seller keeps telling me that I should trust him. I have a very difficult time in believing him though. Does this site have any ways to verify the seller or anything that can help to ensure I get the product?

I honestly would not recommend this, many of these companies are being reported as scam artists. And with all these reports it seems as though Alibaba.com has no intentions of doing more to protect consumers, they should implement a rating system at once. Other wise please do not give any money up front especially to the Chinese companies.

Hi, from my experience and a lot more, many of these companies are fraudulent, I wouldnt take the chance.

Tell u the truth. Western Union is the other payment form except T/T in our company. Already some clients sent us money for Sample Order by Western Union.

It only costs a few minutes for us to get the money sent by Western Union so we can deliver the products to our clients as soon as possible. While other payment forms usually cost several days to transmit the payment. For this, some customers accept Western Union when they place a sample order or a small order.

Some customers think it is more credible to send the money to company's account than by Western Union.

Personally I think goldensuppliers on Alibaba or globalsource are more reliable than free and Non-members. Just my personal comments.

Westion union is one of the payment term in our company too. It is very convenient. But you should find a honest supplier first,then you can do this payment.

By the way,my main product is DIGITAL VIDEO RECORDER PEN. If someone interested in it.I will be very happy

 

In my opinion, bank transfers are much better. Yes there have been a lot of scams using western union and money gram especially from Nigeria.

But before you send an item, regardless of what payment scheme you choose, make sure that you get the money first before you send your product.  Its a matter of trust and as long as the buyer keeps their word, you have to fulfill yours as well.

That is how I see it.

A genuine business firm will only transact in TT wire transfer to their company name or by LC. It is totally unprofessional for companies to use Western Union or Money Gram as form of payment for their goods sold. If my supplier want me to pay by Western Union, then I rather donate the money to charity because I find the money more well-spent without regret. Don't take risk! Western Union is only good for sending money to your relatives or friends that you know. Once payment made via WU, there is a high risk you will not get your goods delivered while poor you waiting day after day for the DHL man to appear at your doorstep. Keep the money for Christmas or find another reliable supplier.
