Our concern suggest only organic fertilizers and compounds.
Also we suggest scientifically grounded projects of land regeneration (renewal) and realize these with own organic fertilizers (manure, compost, peat, sapropel) and other materials (clay, etc.).

Quoting from [germex]:

Replying to [ecopeat]:

Soil bacteria are indeed needed for healthy soil, but what about fungi? They are also essential for your soil and plants. Pisolithus tinctorius is probably the best known of them, but there are many more.

In fact, some plants barely survive without these fungi, as they permeate the outer plastic-like layer of their roots and only this way allow the nutrients to p *. In other cases they help break down complex molecular structures to make nutrients more avaiable to the plants, besides other benefits. Some even produce antibacterial substances, to fight off pathogens.

How is that for healthy soil? [em1]

How do you feed your soil?   Do you use chemical fertilizers?  Do you use organic fertilizers?  Do you use both?

You are what you eat.

I use a combination of the two.

The problem that I have with most "organic" fetilizers is that they can rapidly change the PH of the soil which inhibits nutrient uptake. PH is just as important as feeding. You can feed your soil till the cows come home but it won't do a lick of good if you're soil becomes "nutrient locked". Also keep in mind that plants use different nutrients at varying rates, so nitrogen / phosphorus / potassium may not be used in the same ratio as magnesium / sulfur etc......

    Just some more random thoughts....[em3]
    Dear Rizzob,

What do you find works best to grow your Habanero ?

Please do not use chemicals, like Urea. Constant use will make the soil.dead
First check the pH of the soil, to assist you to find which crop will grow.
Second use vegetable fertilizers, if neccessary.
Use organic matter to kill pests

    I am available for assistance

Organic fertilizers are what I use but then again I was hesitant on replying since I sell it. Yes I believe it is for a benefit of the land and the limitations it has are also present in any products used. I like organic since I eat organic.

Now there is also other solutions as well. One would be the introduction of the tea. This is the castings NOT the compost and best done with distilled water through it and blended and aerated and after mixed used in 24-48 hours. As it is the microbial activity not just the chemicals from castings that make the difference. this introduction of the micro organisms are the bottom of the food chain where worms will dwell and feed on bringing more nutrients and expelling a balance. Then there are spiders, insects to consider as well for the contribution for the soil since manures have different make ups and the animals and insects have different relations to different plants.

This is a loaded question and needs analysis on individual basis for a true answer of what is best for your soil from geographics, temperatures, environmental aspects now, insects and habitation, usage, and the pH level and best suited pH level for growth plants. So in simple terms it is best to see the pH of your land first, pick your desired crop and check on yields averaging in geographic for feasibility and move from there one step at a time. Dirt is no longer just Dirt

As I am from Thailand , aggriculture is our life. I just would like to suggest you the best way to fertilize the soil. However , it's the secret of my company as well so I can't tell all of it. Yes , using organic to fertilize the soil is marvelous but expensive. How about complex fertilizing ? Complex fertilizing means using the plant hormone mixed up with protien or any Phrosporus as you wish. The ratio of mixure is secret. Moreover , you can also control your water by mix it up with pickled fish. I will give you an example of my organic rice field. I raise the cattle , buffalo , fish and some species of shells in the rice field. I use cattle and buffalo in stead of using rice reaping vehicle. I use their pooh in order to make a fertilizer by controlling their food with high fiber and protien. I use water from fish pond because it will contains nutrient from fish remains and pass some filter before watering. I raise some species of shells in the rice field because its smell can chase the insects. Besides , those shells has the ability to disk the soil. That's my complex system of my rice field.
