Some great news for you.

1. Your written English is as good as mine and as good as most people that use this forum.

2. Cannot comment on your spoken skills but can guage a lack of confidence.

3. No one on earth can do anything about this but yourself.

4. we are not native english speakers. but after talking for a period of time it becomes easier   to speak and with this comes confidence.

5. Its all about confidence and if you feel that you must improve on the spoken aspect of this then do converse a lot and make it a habit to ocnverse only in this language with a few friends ...

6. Off course getting a help groupg with similar problems and meeting for a a short period regularly over a period of time would help.

7.The more you speak the better it gets

Allt the best

Quoting from [germex]:

Well, your written English is reasonably good. So you will have to practice your pronunciation. The best thing that comes to my mind is repeating (speaking) texts you can hear somewhere spoken by a native English speaker. Then you tape the same text - pronounced by you - on a tape recorder. After that you listen to both  your pronunciation and that of the native speaker. This comparison will tell you what to correct.

Hi all

My name is Herbert Lee. I'm the Director of Research at the English Research Institute. I've been a professional speaker and trainer (in English) for over 30 years. I've been a coach to CEO's, public relations executives, politicians, and high level executives. I've written four books on presentation skills.

I have been researching English fluency for over six years. I have seen so many students try to become better speakers, spend lost of money on books, courses and training and get very little result. Instead they wind up frustrated and upset and eventually give up.

I am almost finished my first draft of the "Fluent English Research Report." If you want a copy send me an email at englishresearchinstitute@gmail with the subject line "Free Report AB." I think it may put you on the right track.

Oh, I'm very busy doing research so don't have time to answer your personal questions. So please no emails for "chatting." My research will help lots of people improve their fluency so I can't spend a lot of time with chatting. Sorry about that.

Thanks germex,

I think the problem lies in the  aspects like :  I cannot hear clearly what the foreigners say , that's important , I think before I am able to communicate with them , I should firstly have good listening skills !!!because when I cannot catch what he/she said , I will be a little bit nervous ,and that make the situation worse.
You are right. So try your best to practise listening. You will be Great.Come on!![em20][em18]
