Recently I realized that Alibaba has added something new showing senders' IP and real location of the addressee. I am sure this method could be helpful for almost all companies especially trading firms.

 

However as you know gradually cheaters will be using new ways to mislead people and they will refer to some Websites and Software that change IP and I think in this case Alibaba won't be an exception and this system would indicate incorrect locations. In this case they would be able to send enquiries for example from while Alibaba shows another country. So, all companies and Alibaba members be aware.

Hi Edman,

Their is no question about IP Identification being beneficial. Its a great tool added recently into Alibaba.com. It will be of great help to very memebr as they can atleasrt make the initial verification about the genuiness of the inquiry.

yes I agree that this IP identification can be mislead, but to do so the sernder should have good knowledge of internet/DNS mamagement and hosting service. There will be very few scammers who will have do so much effort.

All In all according to me its a most useful addition to Alibaba.

as I understand the scammers will be succesfull until China, Indonesia & other countries of Oceania wont be secured by reliable payment services with low fees..for example paypal is not convenient becoz it takes long time for seller to get his money & plus he has to pay fees whats not convenient for him...

Economy grows, technology grows, business grows but payment, fees still didnt come to affordable point for both sides (buyer's & seller's) then only even serious companies do not have any other choice but Western Union or T/T etc..

government should work on it, banks should do ..then scammers will be "most of time" loosers..I hope :)
