In fact, the financial crisis is a huge chance for companies. Some of your competitors will fall back, while the customers are more frugal with their money and are willing to look for new suppliers who are more competitive than their former, familiar suppliers they would not have wanted to replace in a normal situation. So if you have a good idea now, you can improve your service, or have better conditions, you could gather more buyers now than normally, with only a little extra effort. You must only activize yourself.

In trouble times there is always opportunties. Most people mae money in the bad times not in the good time. The key is to determine and assess the value and quality of the product you are selling. While luxury items may be cut back, the essentials are always needed regardless of what happens in the wold market. People still need to eat, drink, smoke, use toilet paper...well you get the point:)

It also mean re-assessing your products and your offering. It's sometime is better to sell at a lower price and reducing your margin slightly, it may work out better and balanced out because you will sell more.

It is also a good time to look into your marketing strategy, as they may be outdated and no longer suitable for the current market environment.

Hi Coco,

All of us are facing the same problem. I think now is a very good chance to attract new buyers, also it's very to loss your exsiting customers, as many factories or trading companies are quoting better prices, offer better services, work even harder etc..

So, ask what your customers what they want, better terms of payment, etc.. But after all, you would need to watch out the risks during your trascations. One order might take away of what you earn in a year!

No matter how serious is the Financial Crisis is, people also have to buy somthing to meet their basic lifestyle need. But as people are hard up for money at this time, they will choose the best products to meet their need.So the manufacturer don't just complaining the circumstance, you must adapt method to the circumstances. How can your products to serve your customers better at this special period?
