I have been seeking out a manufacter-supplier of handbags and I have one I would like to order from however I just don't know which ones are real or not. They will accept paypal but I have to pay the 7% fee. Their prices are OK but I know these handbags are being sold cheaper because I can buy them in the US for 6.00 more. US sellers are making more than 6.00 on these handbags. I'm just afraid to send my money. If I get scamed and use paypal, will I get my money back? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Hi,

You are protected with Paypal for only a certain amount, you can check with them first, also to find if they are real or not, contact the embassy (yours) in that country by e-mail, also the 7% fee is way too high??? Never seen it that high!

    Hope this helps,

  • Hi nanaof3,

Are you buying the items from China? I am a Canadian running a small sourcing company here in China and would be happy to act as your agent here (i.e. visit the supplier on your behalf, verify the products they have guaranteed to you).

If this interested you, please contact me by email at ryanthiggins@hotmail.com

    I also have a website at www.importchinaproducts.com

    Good luck,

a simple procedure allows to see how trew are the parties inside the deal.

first they have to start with an ICPO and that is a must that this formular has to be bankendorsed where stated inside a softprobeauthorization or a permission of the bank that there is a crediteline accisting.

then the FCO is prepaired and signed by both parties . Both papers ICPO and FCO is a binding and legal letter what can be reported to the curt as it is the first step of contracting.

The next step is that seller sends a POP through his banker to the buyers banker

then a conditional swift will be send to the sellersaccount that can be unconditional after verification of the sellingdocuments like invoice bill of lading etc. secourd deal 100% and also safe by the incurence what must be done in favour of the buyer

  • Most of Chinese suppliers do not want to cheat  overseas clients, they know how difficult to find real customers.  They try to satisfy their customers. Payment term usally is T/T 30%, balanced paid against seeing shipment documents. At least you can make sure you will get the goods, but quality need to be take risk. Once again, Chinese factories want to keep a real customer, they will try to offer high quality productions.

I am in Guangzhou, maybe I can help you to check the production qualtiy before ship.

[em1]Paypal is the best payment term for your reference though you have to pay 7% fee.Our company had been treated by two buyers by using paypal before [em4]but we can never,of course we will never[em1],treat any buyers.Cause Paypal protect buyers a lot.Say,if you can't receive what you've ordered, you can send a dispute to Paypal and if the seller can't provide any evidences, say tracking number or other list, your money will get back into your account[em2].What's more,if the quality of what you've ordered are bad,you can also claim to Paypal.Paypal also deal with this problems for buyers,if the sellers can't provide enough evidences to show that what they've sent are what you wanted to order,Paypal will send you money back.

Paypal protect buyers more, that's why many companies don't accept Paypal while buyers prefer it.

This post is NOT accurate. Paypal do NOT cover you for this type of deal in any way!! I suggest you go read the Paypal rules more closely. PLEASE do not post information that is this inaccurate. Mod

  • I think it is much better to make the first payment as L/C. Then you can start to sign something to make the deal go smoothly.  Since we are trying to find someone who can be trusted, we may ask our friend to check if they are real or they would be trusted or not. If you are convinient, then try to visit the supplier.
