I read and reply to topics in the forum a lot these days, and find a terrible problem in forums.
That is a lot of tradelead still posting in the forums, but moderators still do not cancel them off, I think this would make people not like to visit the forum any more, people visit forum usually for reading some valuable topic that teach people, and it is a place like a university for people to study here, now, it is just like a lesson full of useless things make readers can not be patient to read any more. and a lot of posting have the contact details which do not obey to the rules of forum, but, they are still listing there.
Some days ago, I have read some topic that complaint about this.
Time is money for a businessman, so, we should give a valuable place that do not wasting the time from people.

Elecpack I think the other mods will agree that we have all tried our best so the responsibility to solving this problem now lies solely with the forum admin.
For many, many months we have all been suggesting ways for the forums to be tidied up to make it easier for users to find the correct forum to post in. Admin replies that yes we are giving great suggestions and that they will do something yet months later things have not changed.
Some forums have moderators who are no longer active and one forum does not even have a moderator i.e. Ask an Expert, so they become full of trade leads and other breaches. Again these problems have been pointed out to forum admin many times by many mods yet forum admin have yet to resolve the issue.
You are right that people will lose faith in the forum unless the forum is easy to use and useful. Currently the forum is neither easy to use nor useful in many respects.
One area I do disagree with you however is that users should be allowed gto post whatever questions they need help with. You can always exercise your right to ignore questions such as 'What does FOB mean?' as I do. There are some basics that people should get for themselves without being spoonfed.
By the way, imagine how tidy the forums would be if Alibaba put an end to scammers on this site through the simple suggestions I have made elsewhere. Then the forums could concentrate on what I believe is their purpose i.e. import and export business.

Yes, the Admin group is also trying to keep the forums tidy , and it needs help from both Admins ourselves and Moderators.
Alibaba.com is a worldwide trading site so that means, various people come here with various purposes .
We 'll try to improve the quality of the forums.

I also have a suggestion to the forum, that is when we are reading from forums to forums, we could not able to see whether which topic we have taken part in posting reply. I think that it would be great if there is a symbol like a man before the topic when reading all topics, that would be much convenient for people using the forum.
I know that can can come to know which topic we have replied, but that is really not convenient to use by this way.
Hope alibaba would thinking about my suggestion.

Egernia, by the way, is it possible for me to apply to be a moderator to other forum like "basics of import- export forum" or " asking an expert", I can almost solve all problem for the forum to the poster. and I still have much time to deal with.
If so, how to apply for? I've reply to the topic "apply to be a moderator" these two days.
You need to contact Admin about being a moderator and in my opinion we sure could use a mod on the Expert forum just to help clean up the trade leads and move posts to their correct forums.
There was some talk about other mods having to support the application of new mods of some such. I dont agree with that type of system but if Admin want you to provide a mod who can support you then I will.
Ranko-ali words from Alibaba staff dont mean much these days but I welcome you to back up your comments here and make some useful changes to the forums and the security of the site. There are far too many people at alibaba who state that they will improve things and fix this or that yet nothing gets done!
Why not spend less time on Mooncake games and more time on making this website and community safe for buyers and rewarding for users. Once you have done that you can start playing games!
