Hi Guy,
i met the same joke when i was in US. For paper pulp. there are many kinds, including mixed up, recycled and Virgin pulp... I mentioned this to one of the my US friend, he was so surprised and say.. What? Virgin pulp, are you saying Virgin... what is that pulp?" After my explanation, he looked like that he understood me already..
Yeah Virgin means pure, original. but not recycled... you know the virgin pulp of paper mean the pulp made from cassava, wood chips...but not waste paper...so i agree with the answer above... I hope my stroy could help you understand that.
If you want to do virgin Al business, make sure you had had all contacts, it is kind of special. reasons:
1> it is the #1 step commodity. or we could say your customer would be the first class of Al consumer. so there are a lot of Choice.
2>All Al products manufacturer will need the Al for all of their production line.
3>As the first products for the Al ore, the price could be influenced and changed very soon if there is any change of the ore.. or even political elements..
4>During these year, the price of nonferrous metal goes up and down very much. so it is hard to tell the market and track the business cost.
.......
All in all, this depends on you own decision. i am sure you could figure it out and take your action.
Regards,
Jon
