Actually , you can understand your supplier by  communicating for  a long time. then in that period you will find something .maybe longer  , or you can try to recognize the real supplier or  not  by placing a very small order.

Mostly . China supplier have a good credit. because they just want to sell their products out. and  get back the money worth the products.  i can hardly heard customer is cheated by supplier ,i just often heard people failed to get their money back . because there are many suppliers. they just want to compete with their  competetors.

No international trade is 100 % safe, as a buyer, you have to do enough Due Diligence work before payment. A Pre-shipment QC inspection is a must if your order is large enough. Please feel free to ask me any question related.
