At present ,i suffer from a problem about item of payment .
Our factory locate in coastal city Xiamen ,China . so ,we always adopt FOB trad terms.
Durning the time of i communicate with my clients ,they agree with all of our idea except payment item -T/T in advance -50% deposit ,50% after confirmation of sample .they say that they will take a risk before they don't know how their products will be like .what's more ,the 50% deposit is more absurd .they cann't understand at all .
But as a mold factory ,it's impossible that they pay for us after they see the sample made by our mould .
You know ,FOB together with T/T in advance ,it's safe for us to a certain extent. but still has risk ,one client refused to pay 50% balance after they received the sample before .it we adopt 50% balance against copy of B/L .it's also dangerous cause of FOB .
One client want us to adope L/C .but it's not safe either or the bank fee is very high for our small order .
I lost lots of clients cause of the problem . i feel depressed sometimes .Anyone can give me some advice ? what can i do ?
