What have your companies done to overcome the decline in sales abroad recently?

Dear US Forum members,

Recently I've heard from people TradeManager and our forum complaining on decline in sales abroad. The financial crisis is one of the main causes of the decline.

Although this is a common phenomenon among our Chinese suppliers, I still believe that some companies have come up with very successful and creative methods to somewhat overcome the sales decline. So, would you please tell us your companies' actions to get over this hard time?

I think this is a good time for us to share our experience for the benefit of all Chinese companies on Alibaba. Only through the prosperity of all our suppliers can China's middle/small market business develop and improve!

    Our strategy is to recommend cheap products.

    Once the price is low enough to attract the clients, they will stop and spend more time for us.

    They may choose another product with higher price or they may think our recommendation is just what they want.

    Anyway, a lower price makes them feel better at present.

    This is really a tough time, but we can not offer lower price because the rise of  raw material is raising.

    yes ,the best strategy is to attract client with a lower price but high qulity and the after sale service is also very important!!
