Our industrial too.  Almost every plastic mould company dismissed 50% staff.  Very bad!

I can't answer specifically which industry is still safe, but I can share with you that one of my customer is doing very well during the current economy crisis. They are selling dollar products which is consider mid and low products which is cheap. When people cant afford to buy expensive, they will buy cheap.


Also food industry, depends on what food you are selling. There is one news i read, those company selling burgers has increase of sales during this period. Workers cant afford for expensive food and their time is valuable, therefore they go for fast food..


There are many more.. just think of it..

I know one Business that still growing in this Crisis ie : a Multilevel marketing biz  to be specific the company name is AMWAY , at 2008 their business is increasing by some percentage (I don't remember the figure). Please check, there is still hope my friend.....

Nothing is safe, there is no business which did'nt get affected by these crisis. Firstly i think that the industries who provides product which are necessity of life will be safe, but they also get affected..
So no business industry is safe.

what ismeaning,

I think nothing is safe. you only adapt but you can not safe.

medical industry is thriving, as many people feel ill after they are laid off.

body-building equipments industry : people have a good reason to keep fit now.

games industry: staying at home means no penny to be spent and a pound earned.

men's underware, women's lipsticks sell well too.
