Dear Sir/Madame
It does not matter if you ship by air or fast train or bicycle. You must get proper l/c
in FCA terms and conditions, verify it in your bank, and then make shipment properly and present your documents to your bank and collect your money safely.
If you send in CI terms then you will insure the goods and add insurance policy to your commercial invoice and present to your bank.
Good luck in trade

Hello,
The most important thing is to check your L/C, if it's 'IRREVOCABLE AT SIGHT', otherwise, your products will be a kind of gift for your client and you won't get paid!!!
The reason is when you ship your goods by air, the B/L has to go along with your products. Once your client get a hand of the B/L, the goods are not yours anymore and you don't have control over it. So you are just sending them a gift, free of charge.
So check your L/C before you do anything and you will have to get paid before you send your goods to the airport. You can add that payment should be 100% in full after inspection.
Don't do it until you can trust your client!!!
Hope this helps you in a way.
Good luck and best wishes,
Ricky Park
It is a great advise from Hawkins. I agree with him basically u can set the LC clause with your buyer. LC at sight, irrevocable, confirmed and expire in shipper country is safe.
In my opinion, LC against copy AWB is great for shipper.
