    First you must apply for an import-export code number (if you do not have one) ?  Secondly identify the product names. Either you discuss with your import freight clearing agent or buy a govt. of India publication on classification of Export Import Items with Customs Tariffs.

    Generally there are Customs duties and Counter vailing duties (CVD) . There are certain products which have special duties.
