So i've done the search for the suppliers, asked them to prove that they actually have the items in stock by sending actual photos, not just photos from the web, of stock.

Of course we want to have a business relationship developed, then we recive this:

" alraedy we the goods is with the shipping company,we gave them on the 19th feb,but we are unable to collect the tracking number, because it was late i just call my secretary who just told me that they have shipped off to you already, that he was only met to go and collect the tracking number from the shipping the next day
what do we do now,you would have told us this arrangemnt first.
as you can see ,that this is partner ship and is met to be between 2 parties. so advice what do we do? see you have no problem about anything ok just go ahead and wait for the tracking number tomorrow.we will receive direct to our account via western union,we need no one to give it to us,everything is documented here
ok the western union receipt you will send to us,we be documented"

I think we already know the answer, but why do people fall for these, and why are dodgy companies allowed onto alibaba.com ?

Jonathan Maithai ?? ( I like this drink )

a B2B site is something for expirienced Businessman !
If you have the corresponding knowledge you are able to filter this kind of suppliers out !

For others it is better to buy their needs on EBAY, or get a lesson in business "before they start to trade", this lesson, they can get here with the best Samples of what is possible and what not !

But one must adhere to it and not become greedy !

Scam companies are not "allowed" here, but they tend to come anyway. If you report them to Alibaba with some evidence they will be removed, at least if they are free members:
