It is more and more difficult for exporting!
Post 1 of 3

I have been engaged in foreign trade since March 2005, till now it has been 3 years. I found the quality is more and more important. Although the foreign customer require lower and lower price, but the precondition is that the quality must be very good for them. In this way, it requires the manufacturer supply the products with lower cost but good quality. So it makes the foreigh trade more and more difficult. As you know, the cost of the material is increasing, and the exchange rate is going worse. The profit is very little for the manufacturer. One customer discussed with me at the beginning of the business, he said that you can make the price lower to attract the customers, after they confirm you as their supplier, you can up your price then. But we think it is not the wise choise for the manufacture, as we could not do the business which will lose money. Also we could not make sure that the customer will accept the increasing price after they confirm the products.

In the mind of most Chinese people low price equals low quality. I disagree.

Smart factories can often find ways to modify production in order to get competitive prices without comprimising on quality.

So look at your products, look at your procedures, look at your packaging, and work out ways to reduce costs without cutting quality.

if you said  ----------- It is more and more difficult for exporting!

I will say :

Where there's a will, there's a way.

I donot agree with the opinion if buyer always require lower and lower price, it depends on your negotiation & market target

long years ago ...I ever think similar like u that buyer always think lower price....but after I myself look at the market ( the buyer place )---------- my experience if your price is reasonable, i mean your price equal your quality ...they will understand and will order u.

Goodluck to u [em20]
