how to deal with the situation product is not exactly the one the customers ask

we have our main product line. sometimes customers send their inquries about some products, but their products are too complicated and do not exactly match ours. we don't want to give up this opportunity and spend much time in preparing quatations for them. but later there are no any responses from them. that's really disappointing.


how can customers find their satisfactory suppliers so fast?

Making bread is different to making sandwiches. You better focus on your own expertise instead of spending time on things with least possible result.

Yes,please be more patient with your clients,if they don't reply,1 week later you can send one more email with the information that is helpful for them.Believe me,Business is not acomplished in one or two days. sometimes should be many years.How can people do business with somebody who are not familiar. So please be more patient and let your clients to know that you are sincere and helpful for them. Business happened only on the base of trust! so please be honest to all of your clients.never cheat!
