hi...

i'm new to international business... can anyone please tell me how a container is shipped from the factory in one country to my shop in another.... the procedure, the documents needed, the method of payment,...etc.

not that i am so lazy to find out but that i am confused by the amount of  terms used like T/T, L/C, bill of lading, freight forwarder and things like that.

i'll be very thankful if u can explain this "complicated process"...

    if you are lazy

then ask your supplier for CIF price , so you can save yourself from shipping hasel.

then hire a custom clearing agent , he will do all for u.

    FOB is freight on board
