NGV safe to drive? Suitable for petrol car engines in long term?
Post 1 of 2

I have considered many times to get my car Hyundai Sonata converted to NGV. Some said:

1) the gas tank is heavy enough to damage your car absorber.

2) It takes some of the boot space(nearly 50% of it)

3) Explosion of the gas tank.

4) High maintenance changing the gas valves

How true it might be but im still considering. I just cant believe it without seeing it with my own eyes(i mean the explosion).

I need some experts to post some comments

Your gasoline tank can explode, as there you have both combustible fumes and air (with oxygen), but your gas tank won't explode, as there only is gas but no oxygen.

Regarding the other points, it depends on the particular tank and accessories.
