If someone want to use pictures form somebody else they have to ask to use it because of the copyright.If the company is not a manufacturer theirselves but wants to sell this products then it is a good thing that they use your pictures as an example (if they have permission). The customer wants to know what they can expect. And if this company get an order, you get this order also.
But if the company uses your pictures without your permission and manufacture the products theirselves is it not alright offcourse.
The best thing you can do is when you place your pictures online to set a watermark or your name in it. So if someone wants to copy the pricture, they copy the picture with your companyname in it.

well if its not there product the customer will find out soon enough and only do that once you just have to tell your leads whats going on

Regret to say, it seems common now. We haven't got complete system to control these unfair copy. I also find some other companies copy the pictures of my company.

Could be a good or bad thing depending if you are the manufacturer or not.
If you are a manufacturer then to have other copy your products detail and picture is a great thing because it means others are helping promote your product.
If you are not a manufacturer, then its up to you to wisely secure your photo with watermark or other forms of protection.
Just about anything can and will be copied so you should not be suprised that this happens. So it is up to you to make the effort to protect your.
If they are copying it on Alibaba you can notify Alibaba of this issue and ask them to rectify the issue. I don't know if they will actually follow through on it or not, but no harm in trying.
