when you upload the picture of your product , you should add the Watermark in case other's used your picture.
Trademark is not always useful, he can own your images from other channel. For example, your client maybe own your new designs, and then he post it in this web.
A trademark is usefull if you don't want that someone else use your pictures.
About the design: for example - If I make a design and give a manufacturer an order to make this design, then I have the copyright of the design not the manufacturer.
Quoting from [yanru]:last time,I got one same photo from two different makers.so i feel curious.i don't know which one can really produce.maybe one maker can't produce that item.they just copied photos from interent and send to another maker who can produce that item if they got an inquiry from somebody.
Quoting from [snowmay]:I really appreciate your honesty. However, if everybody works in the same way as you, you must admit, all business will be in great confusion and disorder. To avoid such situation, the best we can do is to protect us well.Quoting from [gl5188022]:Recently i found several other companies had copied our products' pics and posted them on alibaba as their products.

FRANKY SPEAKING, I ALSO SOMEITMES USE OTHER COMPANIES PICSAS YOU KNOW IN CHINA,SOMETIMES,MANY COMPANIES DO THE SAME THINGS,EXACTLY SAME!
AND SOMETIMES WHEN I FEEL THEY DO BETTER ,I WILL USE THEIR PICTURE TO INSTEAD OUR CURRENT ONE ..
SO IF YOU FIND OTHERS USE YOUR PICTURE,IT'S NORMAL ,BECAUSE SOMETIMES YOU ALSO CAN USE OTHERS...
Quoting from [A little PP]:They don't know the design ,There is only way to copy other products pic.
You shouldn't be worried about that their prouducts can't catach your products . Every porducts have their own's spirits including the your products.
Take care~
Make your customer know that you are the best one~You are the original~
Sorry to learn that news, though you're not the only victim. With the development of science and technology, nothing is impossible, so even if you put a waterprint on evey single photo of your products. It might simply not work.
Well, I didn't mean to depress you, but what I said is...true, to some degree. So, what you can do, and what we can do? Many people here have already gave you answers, and I think some of them are right. So, try your best to protect your brand. If it still can not work, that means, your company produce wonderful products and have a good brand.
By the way,for the photos copied already, there's nothing you can do, but you may get touch with the companies, and try to persuade them to delet the photos of your products. I know the chance is slim, but if you do think it is worth it, just try it. And I wish you good luck. Hope all the companies pay respect to their competitors, I know it is just a hope...
Copying picture is a small matter, I have a friend working as an expatriate engineer in a multi national company in China, he told me their customer’s design off products was copied and sold in China’s market even they have yet to built it in China, this happened so many times that their management barred new design to be develop in China.
If you are working for a huge multi national company you’ll know that no company dare to built any high end or high technology products in China
Really so many nice suggetions here. Thanks all so much

It depends on where the company is located that is claimimg your product as theirs and how much you are willing to spend to protect your rights. Firstly, did you trademark and patent your product as well as register a copyright of your website and its content? From there, you do have legal reco to sue them for infingement of your rights, but this is something you should counsel with a reputable attorney.I made the mistake of not registering a copyright on my website: http://www.rsscctv.com and when my partners left they stole the website, domain and customer database while leaving me with a very high debt load as the company debt had been on my personal credit.
Six months after my partners left, they sued me for copyright infringement after they had converted 'our' webpage content to their domain content ( I had regaind legal control of the domain by producing the documents to the domain registrar) and I was eventually forced by my attorneys to settle with them stating that my ex-partners had no case, but it would take $50,000.00 to have it go to trial and once the judgement came against them, they could say they don't have the money and I would still owe my lawyers and related fees. This in spite of my obtaining evidance from my website via 'archive.org' proving my content to have existed before their domain came into existance.
ha~~you are a little stupid,in addition watermark on ok !
