Post 1 of 10

I know you can form a company in either of these countries as a foreginer non-resident,but I was wondering if it is possible to import goods there ,in other words clear it from the customs as a non-resident individual or if you opened a company in your name over there.?

what are the documents required to clear it from customs... garments which are coming in from Pakistan or India?Anybody knows?

Yes, you can. I lived in Chicago for a while, where I have a romanian friend, hi is non-resident and he has a developing company. I know he imported lots of goods from China like granite and marble tiles, sinks, kitchen cabinets, faucets, granite slabs for counter tops, even hardwood floor. Unfortunately I don't know what kind of documents do you need, but if you dig deeper I'm sure you can find out. At the end all that counts it's the taxes you pay...

Could be CO is COO mean Certified Of Origine = mean from where the product come from.

GSP mean what product get in to HS number to pay costume tax.

To import to the U.S. all you need is a registered business reciever from any state . These countries employ border brokers to process the paper work from one country to another.

Example livingston. Contact the border officials and you can obtain all the information you need to make exports and imports seamless..thats what they are there for. Pre authorization thru these brokers saves a ton of time. Basically you give the freight bill information orgin destination weight product and route of crossing. Pretty easy after you go thru it once. Take your time do it right ask questions if you dont know again border patrol  The same works in reverse from the U.s. to Canada.. hope this helps
