The scandal first came to light in milk powder that killed four infants and sickened more than 6,000 others.

Suppliers are believed to have added melamine, a banned chemical normally used in plastics, to diluted milk to make it appear higher in protein.

This is a big prolem in China now. even three children are dead. How could they do such things.

How those person scares, I am sorry to that.  Does anybody know which milk is safe?

Where are the government inspectors?   Things like this must be taken seriously.   The babies are victims of a disgusting greed .


It make people outside of  China afraid to buy Chinese products. 

this issues has been going on for the last few years.  It is widespread in CHINA now,

It is time that the evil and greedy merchants are punished.


Food Security is the basic and fundamental security that a country must provide.

No one want to live in fear of what they can eat in the future.


china, it is time for you to wake up.  dont let the few greedy merchant to poison the billions of innocents, and suffer consequences.

Look at the big picture....Any producer/manufacturer selling cheap stuff has to be reconsidered. You can get very low price for a product, but is the quality of the product is assured. If toxic chemicals are mixed in milk which are given to infants....just imagine the quality of the other products manufactured. This is not the first time.....


As the saying goes..."cheap things no good....good thing no cheap"


Let this be an eye opener for everybody who look for cheap things..........

i don't know why those manufactures can bring their heart to put poision in the baby's milk powder.they don't have baby? if somebody treated their baby with that way, what they would think?every one has baby, and childre are innocent creature.so they should think for their baby when they want to do bad thing.

This is a very tragic issue.

In not so  drastic  as this case, you will find many foodstuff including bad stuff, and this is not only i China, it is everythere.

I think the most sheeting industry is the food industry.

Why they put in so many stuff in a product, like color, thicknesser, aroma,  antibiotics,etc,

When you only use the real stuff making it at home.

The answer must be, to make it cheaper, and get more profit, and to make it last for month, and still looks as new and fresh.

They are skilled to fool us, the taste is OK, but rather due  to chemical manupulation than from the real raw products, which it contains as little as possible.

In todays world it is a fact, more people die because the food, than lack of it.

 I allways avoid to buy any processed food, I prefere to buy straight from trustfully farmers and use that I can grow on my own land.
