Hello buddy,Because this is the first travel for you  to go abroad,Ithink you'd better read some books about USA's history,then find a map of USA ,make sure you are familiar with it, it will be much more  better for you to make your schedule in advance ,for plan to how many  places you would like to go for visit etc.Then from bank of china to change RMB into USD ,pick your bag ,go fun !*^_^*

If you are going to be drving yourself, get a GPS at car rental office.

What state or city will you be visiting?  If your in the northern US _ New York, Chicago area it's winter. Lots warmer in the sunny South or West coast. Enjoy your trip.
