Much time future cannot give you any guarantee and power to make up your decisions, but you can do that.

Time goes by, notion are changing. Some are followers of fads, some are tradtion's up-holders, also there are some neutrals.

The key of this matter I would like to say is that different people have different options. Just do as what you wanna do. Surely the premise is that whatever your option is, you will not  have no regrets in the future.

just  imagine that the mother have a baby without a marry and no registeration.

The man make a problem with his girl friend and go away.

the baby get older and ask who is my father?

Living together before marriage let you understand each other fully, both of you can’t lie and pretend anymore, use this period to really evaluate your partner if he/she is the one you really want to spend the rest of your life with. Jumping into marriage and having kids then only find it regrettable is something very sorry and sad, living with it for the rest of your life will make you sorrier, what you can do about it is only divorce, fighting in court ???
