How do I know I am being scammed or not?
Post 1 of 2

Hello,

I'm about to make payment to a few Nepalese companies on alibaba. How do I know they are real sellers? They say they cant accept paypal as they are in nepal, is that true? I'm required to T\T. Is it safe?

Also, I am buying some clothings from India. How do I make sure my payment will be ok? I've requested for some samples, but not sure how much they are going to charge me.

Also, does paying through paypal really help to protect myself against fraud (e.g. goods never arrive)? I recently paid about USD100 to an ebay seller in India. Now, I am afraid I have been scammed. You see, I did not bid for the item, but the seller and I dealt and confirmed the order by the email on ebay. Then he sent me an invoice on paypal. which did not list the items purchased. This looks like a scam isnt it. But there are many many comments and reviews from his customers throughout the years, and the customers i checked seem to be genuine people online.

hi, i guess maybe doing foreign bussiness would really take a long time, as both parties need to further understand and trust each other. when you become trusted friends, then you're reliable partners............[em2]
