I am looking for a low rate for small packages of less than 2kg (can be 1 kg). Fedex, TNT, DHL, UPS are all too expensive. I want to contact EMS or ZTO express or SF express or other private shipping couriers to see if I can open an account with them. However I don't speak Chinese. I am based in USA. What should I do? Do you know any other shipping couriers that offer low rates for small packages because they have a consolidation contract with EMS or Fedex, TNT, etc?

If I use ZTO express, for example, do they come to my Chinese supplier to pick up the package or my supplier has to come to them to drop the package? Does anyone know how the process works?

Please help!!

Local Courier services like SF offering very cheaper price within China. For example, 35 kgs travelling 100 kms from Guangdong to Shenzhen will cost you around 12 USD and takes less than 24 hours for receiving.

I would say if you can find a proper local Freight Forwarder company to do the service may help a lot for saving the shipping costs. For international courier services, 2 kgs  to USA. I give you the list of price rates for your reference.

EMS: Less than 40 USD.

DHL: Less than 45 USD.

UPS: Less than 50 USD

Fedex: Less than 55 USD.
