We had a famous Chinese sentence, “tian dao chou qin”

Tiao dao mean GOD, chou means requite, qin mean diligence.  

So the whole sentence means GOD will reward those people who work hard.

 

I believed this sentence in my past life, now I believe this sentence a lot.

I want to share my story with all of you.

 

I got to know a buyer from Europe from alibaba forum last year.

He contacted me on May, 2007 and said that he would like to have their products produced in China.

 

At the beginning, he only contacted me the assembling service for their products.

When we talked more and more, he would like me to handle the main part of this business, they were designing the products in their country then I help to find the mould factory for molding in China, produce the injection products and assemble the products in China and export monthly.

 

This is a big business, need a lot of investment. So the buyer is very serious and cautious

 

The communication between me and him lasted for more than 1 year.

I have worked as a “volunteer” in the past months.

We didn’t talk about the service fee.

But I tried my best to give the cooperation, to look for the suitable factories, to communicate btw the factories and the buyers, to get the prices, to compare the price, service, and ability of the factories.

 

It is easy to tell a story here, but it is a long process. There are many details, especially I am new on the industry design field, I had to understand what the buyer told exactly, and translated and forwarded to the factory, when the factory asked questions, I had to understand what they mean and forwarded to the buyer. A lot of communication was occurred.

(I am also happy to say that, the factory we finally fixed is much cooperated, they also gave us their professional and good service in the past 1 year, which made the buyer felt confidence to work. The buyer is very patience, he tried to explain as much as he can when I didn't understand)

 

When we seemed to fix everything, the buyer needed to change some designs and also wanted to get the patent at their end. So it delayed a lot before we real start recently.

 

Many times, I almost lost the confidences to work any more.

I never know at that time if the buyer would like to work or not and when this business would be started.

 

This week, my spring is coming finally after long time’s preparation, communication and cooperation.

The buyer placed the order and would like to remit payment.

I also worried If the buyer would trust me or not.

I invited him to visit and talk with me face to face, I sent him the banking receipts from many of my buyers, and also informed him that I am willing to let him contact my buyers about my reputation.

 

But thank to god, the buyer trusted me a lot and remitted the payment fast and also rewarded me with what I paid. Because We have worked with each other for more than 1 year.  He already knew what kind of person I am.

 

 

Today we have settled every details with the factory. And we are starting!

 

I know there are a lot of works to do later, it is only a start!

Maybe we will face the technology problems or production difficulties, but I still believe that God requites for diligence. Responsibility will conquer the handicap or troubles

 

This moment, I really felt very proud of myself. The feeling that trusted by your buyer and the sense of succeeding is much than money itself.

At the end, I wish I have more lucks in this business. Because this business is very important for my buyer and my company.

I still want to say, I worked hard on this business, I got what i have paid finally. Thanks to GOD! He treated me well also!

But not every business has a nice result.

I had another story i haven't time to write it down yet, which i worked hard, but i lost a lot of money and time due to the factory's problem.

Anyway, I believe" god help those who help themselves"  and I also want to be responsible person.  It is the basic of the business.

The only people who never have bad luck in business are those who never even tried! So don't worry about what you lost or could have received. Focus your attention on what you have.

But no pay, no gain. If there is 1% hope, we still have to go for it. Because we will never know what we can get later.
