I think your friends probably means you must find someone to love, as in getting a BF..well, getting a BF doesn't means u have to marry him isn't it? It can be someone to share your thought with, someone to talk with when you are getting stressful from work, someone who will care for you, etc...I guess in nowadays modern life, most of the girl do not consider their BF is their lifetime partner unless she really met one and she had a strong feeling for him. Same goes to the guys. Most couple nowadays are together because they had the moment of affection with each other and they themselves are not sure it will last or end up on tears..just my own opinion thought...

Marriage is indeed, a serious adventure. A wise man told me that that it is a Journey, and that the successful at it will marry knowing that the road is bumpy and build their marriage on a firm foundation as you would build a sturdy house.

 

 

People of many cultures have different priorities to consider.

 

 

Some have said that to find a mate, they should list their wants or desires in a perfect mate. Toss the list and start a realistic list. Such as:  Honorable, Considerate, respectful, responsible, and humble. (both men and women.)

 

 

Large organized religions teach and preach good qualities. Perhaps that would be a good place to find a mate, such organizations have social events for single people to have an excuse to meet one another. It worked for me and my wife. We both joined the same church, and we searched online for others looking for a mate. I posted the ad and she found me.  This is a good approach for the shy or introverted.

 

 

A perfect man may be impossible to find, but you would be happy with a good man.

 

 

  A wealthy marriage is one that is rich in listening, and understanding.
