This is the definition from alibaba

Quoted

According to our Terms of Use, if your company is (or has branches) located in China (mainland) or exports from China (mainland), you are required to register as a Gold Supplier member. You may find out more details about the Terms of Use here: http://www.alibaba.com/trade/servlet/page/static/legal_notice_basic.

Does it mean every company or exporter in China is a Gold Supplier?  Then what does trust pass mean?  Would a Gold Supplier be sure to be better than a free member safe for business?  Maybe buyers, as well as paid members, would like to know the difference.

Do you think it is the right way to complain about things, that nobody c/would change, by  using a fake name, no address and Alibabas phone number in your registration ??

Anonymus is not better than fraud !

For making a mold of plastic figures, I have paid $1,159 along with original figures to "YiWu Myth Jewelry and Accessory Firm,  (http://myth.en.alibaba.com/)" who is a Trustpass member of Alibaba.

The company not only fails to deliver the mold, but also threatens me to sell the original figures to their customers if I am asking for a full refund.

I already filed a dispute form to Alibaba but not much success yet.

[em1], a good question!

I think  gold = money,  gold supplier = paid member ! [em2]

Our factory is a gold supplier since July, 2008. we have paid 100,000rmb to Alibaba.

Anyway, I think gold supplier is more trustful.

1) Alibaba people go to those factories / companies and check.

2)If anything unhappy happen between you, a buyer, and a gold supplier, Alibaba has to help you.

3) As gold suppliers paid a lot of money, of course they will do better so that their investment will be requitable.[em20]
