Why avoid African origon HMS & Used Rail

HI,

I have seen it written at many people on this forum that we should avoid buying the African origon HMS & used rail. I want  to know that why is it so???

The most common reason from experience and legitimate buyers is that the ports are not really save..  The HMS can get stollen from the port parking lot even after going throught the security gates.

Used Rails is something limited and there is not much in Africa. They can offer you big quantities like 150.000 mt x 12, but if you research, you can see that they can't have this. Also when you ask for past performance, they say things like "how can you question our credibility, we are professionals" etc.

You may receive photos, videos, fine. But think about this; used rails are in 12.5 m pieces, each one of these is 812 kg. Look at the photos and you can make an estimation about the weight there. Even the usual amount of 30.000 mt / month is a LOT of rails which takes HUGE space.

So, you can find small amounts maybe but you need to be sure about the existence of the products before doing anything financially.

A lot code talk and code words on alibaba. what is HMS and used rails? come right out and say what it is . if you are talking about goats , then say you are talking about goats

Used Rails is: Regular train rails. Train rails are being changed every ~10 years. This might change from country to country. The removed rails are very good for making good iron because of their strong composition. They are melted and used again for various purposes. Mostly making construction iron.


HMS is: Heavy Melting Steel. This is mixed metal scrap. Can be used for similar purposes.


Because of the quality and more limited availibility of used rails, they are more expensive than HMS. You can check www.isri.org for more information.

Buying anything from West Africa or Africa in general has to be very closely looked at before cash changes hands; I have watched local sales site and tracked emails which ended up being from Ghana west Africa.

 

 So these people are smart and hard to track down, as they would use Internet cafes and such, They have several different names each with a  account, where they can receive anyones cash and quickly withdraw it, 

 

The Banking corporations Know of the problem with Africa, but don’t make it public. West Africa stands at the moment the largest scam and fraudulent place in the world.  This makes it hard for honest African business

well so many good coments baout hms and used rail from west africa. i am doing the same business from west africa. be noted that mostly 99% exporters of metal scrap are indians and dubai based companies. no african companey itself doing export of it. so if some african companey offering some 1 for used rail or hms becareful. i am doing export of metal s since last 2 years from west africa my material never been stollen from port

Its true some African are not telling the fact as it happen in many culture in the world. And I agree with there are so many cone men are from west african countries.How you lie at this present time it depends where you life. make sure you check the contacts and ip address before you reply to them.
