Dear All,

I have a typical problem in hand. Our co. have been approached by a U.S based company  in coordinating despatch of a  sample forging directly from India to Germany of DDP basis. This forging has been directly ordered by them on a company in Delhi and their contract presently is on Ex-Works basis

The problem is that this US Co. does not have an IEC Code in India .The actual supplier(a company in Delhi) has IEC Code but the U.S company does not want to expose the name of the supplier to the ultimate client in Germany. This US Co. also does not have Import Export registration in Germany also.

What can be done in this case ? Our company also does not have an IEC Code either.

Is there any way out. The ex works price of the forging is approx rs. 1.0 lac. Pl help me.

Award 10 MVPs ( What's this? )for the best answer.

it's complicated problem, but i think you can use door to door consolidator/post service like DHL, TNT or other, that can pick the goods from supplier company in delhi with ex-work basis and sent to ultimate client in germany in DDP basis (it will use DHL's import registration no.).

the shipper or shipping arrangement maybe you or U.S. co, and IEC you can use DHL's.

so the seller (delhi) will not know the ultimate client in germany.

Thanks
