May not be imported is probably a shorter list.
Slaves and that includes human trafficking of all types.

Drugs and narcotics, cannabis, marajuana, *, the leafs of an African plant Chat are allowed although the plant extract containing the narcotic is not.

A large range of goods need various licences or certifications
Most manufactured goods must bear the CE mark and HAVE BEEN certified in a European LAB not just labelled CE (OK).
Gunpowder, guns, ammunition although knifes seem to get through Ok.
Alcohol and tobacco is taxed and regulated strongly
Pharmaceuticals and blood products require a licence.
Live animal importation is licenced as are exotic animals (most of which are banned)
Exotic/endangered species such as rhino , elephant etc so ivory and skins are heavily regulated if not just illegal.

Heavy metals, uranium, uranium ore and various component parts for nuclear power stations/ weapons are heavily regulated or illegal.
Chemical agents are heavily regulated

At the moment Genetically modified grains and foodstuff are not allowed although the government would like to let them in.

So without running through an exhaustive list perhaps you would like to specify a range of goods or a particular market sector

Most distribution channels in the UK are pretty hot on the regulation and licencing and Trading Standards will jump on anyone acting illegally as will the police.

to  jxhehao8

The forum itself are supposed for Information exchange, sharing the Info & knowledge

In feasibility study ,  to research and investigate the market to know a product is feasible

or not  to penetrate the certain segment/spot, among the aspects are :

- aspect  of regulation & restriction

- aspect of social cultural , religion and tradition = ( behavior/habits)

- aspect of technical and standard requirements (quality specs)

so  knowing your market-target  situation (pre-research) is a part of feasibility study.

Market - research is the  precise words for it.

can you catch it my dear  jhh88 ?
