i think now i have face a big problem relate to shipping . my products is for some fashion usage ,such as ball chain and fashion chains.my UK clients usually only buy a little quantity,such as 100 meter,200meter, which weight less,may be only 5~10 kg.the total cost for those chains always less than $100.

but the courier shipping cost to UK is :first 0.5kg is $33.60 ,others $11.2/0.5kg.

if my weight is 5 kg.then should be:

(33.6+11.2*4.5*2)*1.27(fuel fee)=$170.69

so is there anybody want to buy from me? the shipping cost is much higher than goods cost.

one years before, i have done one business with one UK clients, i send all chains to them for free and he only pay for the shipping fee. but it finally cost him $100 shipping fee, he have not order from my anymore, but i send him so many free samples.

it really annoy me,how can i deal this problem?

Low end products in small order volume can never live up to an overseas market. Like everywhere in the world, low end products can only live well locally, or you can get big orders from Wal-Mart or as such.
