Does the supplier whom you found in China just accept container order?
If not, maybe you can buy small quantity at the first time, and then if you have enough money, you can buy container goods.
(As I known, almost Chinese supplier can accept less than container order)

Is it the first time that you enter business relations with your supplier?
If so, I think the supplier would accept your order. As our suppliers know, though the goods should have MOQ, it is common that the trial order would be small quantity.

I've got same xperience from other buyers b/4. In this case, if you are so sure that you wii pay all back in due date, you could offer yr real estate worthy of more than the buying as safety to shipper. Or others' real estates if you dont want yours. Y know what happened my case ? The guy who put his condos as his friends' safety had to see his condos go public auction and I lost 50% even after the auction.
p.s. real estate should exist in shipper's territory.

Why don't you consult a local bank supporting your kind of business or any financial institution that would certainly be glad to help you, there is probably one or two in your neighborhood.

I am an expert but I will try to answer the question. We need money often time but innovation and creativity is more than the worth of money. You can money is everything but not absolute. Your dillema is quite simple. Granting your don't have enough money to buy so that you can import. I am suggesting the following options, to wit:
1.) Arrange Project Equity. Give a little of your profit in the project. The exporter is assured of his own profit. By given him a little of your of gain from the deal, that is something more than enough of what he supposed to earn.
2.) Invite your exporter as part-owner of your entity, not just on per project or deal arrangement.

a friend of mine had a similar problem, he asked me whether i would buy some stock so that he could get a better price on the full continer. depends on the amount you are looking for, i think id be intrested!
