On my end, profits will be higher this year than in the past 5 years. Western companies will profit quickly on the NEW and upcoming products. Those who sit back and watch will profit (much less) later. This areas which fear to take risk in NEW products or are unable to develop them themselves will continue in a slow growth for some time. Customers today are much more careful about spending. They also tire quickly of old products.
