i'm decided to make this article as i've heard from one my friends that : he 's just got an order of 70000 after his products have been processed carefully ,and what's the most interesting point ? He learned this just for 1 day at home.

He is clever , without doubt ,but i think as soon as we are serious about this , we could also do this and get more orders . You cannot ignore the good feeling when your customers are viewing your products with great/ bad images , that's totally different.

In my experience , I will close the window ASAP when i see a bad-performed picture , this is , maybe , an irrational suppose ,but that's the point , users only choose what they look like good !

so I use this title to make more people  aware of this!!!

In several articles I decide to teach Photo Shop to who is looking for making good pictures for Alibaba but don't have any Idea how to use PS to do it...
If you have any problem or question about Photo Shop you can ask in this topic, So we would be able to answer them one by one...

1) open new file by clicking on
Files > new... or straightly press Ctrl+N
For Alibaba website it's better to use this size (500x500 pixels) or 600 x 600 remember both side should be the same, if not your picture can take half of the place inside the frame of web.



2) then you need to open your own picture from your computer:
Files >open (Ctrl+O) then choose your desire picture and insert inside. If your picture is not good quality I will show you some way that can repair it somehow.
Before drag it to our new file, we need to do some process on the picture, such as remove brand and background.
There are several way to remove the background, I show you very fast and easy one.
press (p) to select pen tools. and start to select around your picture, if all the shapes is not square you can hold your mouse button and move your hand to make other shape like square and etc. if the tips of your pen become too long, hold Alt and return beside the other points.



After your start received to the end. Press Ctrl+Enter to select your picture then drag it inside your new file that you created before.

Now select back ground and change it, you can use other picture for back ground or just select desire color. I suggest make multi color to make your picture bold.






Then you would be able to select background, one time click on your mouse and hold it and choose any direction and move, you can move your mouse a bit or more, try it different time so receive to your desire result.


If you want remove logo and anything you don't want or you want repair some part of your picture, select below tool (clone stamp) , then hold Alt and click on the places near the place you want to remove in order to take sample, you can change your sample every time you like.







Now if you want change the color of your background and everything in it, just select your back ground, press Ctrl +U then tick colorize and make your change...

Take photo from chrome is very hard and because too many reflection even some time the person that take picture can show inside the products. Your company can buy one white tent specially to take picture from these products, the light can be effect from up and behind so you got very clear picture. If you don't have this facility, your other way is Photoshop. You can adjust your picture by these:


1) Adjusting brightness and contrast

2) levels

3) filters

4) sampling


I did not see what is your picture look like, if you can post it here to me, then I would be able to show you the right way to solve your problem. some time your picture will need several filtering, or need take sample from the good parts and copy to the bad parts.

You are right... But Most of the big companies like Sony Ericsson, make their pictures  modeling by 3D Max or PhotoShop.


  As I said before taking pictures is very important and need professional camera and lighting.  I show some products here make by photo shop, the main products didn't changed, just background and some light effect to attract buyers more....  I am totally agree with you that original picture should not edit or repair by photoshop much, it can give the fake feeling... It's all depend on the designer use what color and what background so effect on different people. one designer have to know color philosophy well...

If you want remove logo and anything you don't want or you want repair some part of your picture, select below tool (clone stamp) , then hold Alt (your mouse icon will change to target) click on the places near the place you want to remove in order to take sample, after take sample leave Alt,  then with several click and change your sample place you can have a good result."







For adding you own brand:


It's better have a physical product with your own brand and take picture from it.


it's also possible to do that job with photoshop but you must to know the tools very well or else your picture will be very fake... Anyhow, within few days, I will try to write more about the tools for you.
