to see whether the shipper has delivered you the arrival notice.


and get this notice and call the shipper company to ask for the rest process

You will need:

Original B/L

Original invoice, stamped, signed

Packing list

Certificate of Origin

Also you will need to submit the TARIC codes of the products you import to the Customs Bureau. Depending on the nature of your product some certificates may also be necessary (like Declaration of Dangerous Goods, etc). Normally the forwarding company will have a customs agency under contract who will do the paperwork for you, nevertheless you will need to forward above documents to them as well.


The best is if you ask the shipper to send you the documents via courier during the shipment is still on way. You will also need above documents for your bookkeeping.

Shipping from China to UK by sea,what you need for Customs cleared in UK is:

bill of lading

invoice

packing list

no more,either ORIGINAL or Scanned,both works!

B/L,COMMERCIAL INVOICE,PACKING LIST,and CO(FORM A/FORM F)if you need.And then try to contact your local shipping agent to help u to do customs clearance,and all....they may help you whatever you are asking for.

It may be different  in different juristrictions. In my country, if you not are present at the delivery, an approved agent do the work automaticlly, clear with the custom and handle everthing, notice you, and bring it to your door, and charge his costs and custom and all other costs, on one single bill..

Please simply contact your  local Customs House for the documentation requirements and contact local shipping agents for domestic transportation.

you need the BL and invoice and packing list and may be GSP and CO .

if you dont have any experience , so its better to hire a custom clearing agency or agent.
